Pillbox Study Group report that up to eight air raid shelters can be seen on an RAF vertical air photograph 106G/Scot/UK/0118 6010 (flown 12 June 1946). The air raid shelter were demolished by 1951 as they are not visible on RAF oblique air photograph 540/0501 SFFO_0025 (flown 18 May 1951).
