Location Notes: This large outcrop is located on top of a hill, behind the Boyach Farm house. It has been incorporated into the garden of this house and delimited with garden features, A plaque with an inscription celebrating the carvings was places near the panel. Boyach Farm is located at the bottom, and pointy end, of the Machars Peninsula and It overlooks a stretch of land with the sea on each side. From here there are good views over the sea and the Isle of Whithorn. a
Panel Notes: This is a large greywacke outcrop measuring 10.4 x 6.12m located on a hill top, facing in a SW-NE direction. Large cracks and fissures cut through the rock dividing it into several smaller surfaces. Despite the large size of the outcrop, only a small area (1.4 x 0.61m) was carved with a few motifs. A composition of three concentric circles without a central cupmark is carved on an edge of the panel, and a deep cupmark.
