NO 0792 2027 A watching brief was carried out by Derek Hall Archaeologist and Ceramic Specialist on the renewal of drainage pipes to the church, on 14 to 16 September 2020. All excavations were monitored and recorded; two architectural fragments were recovered from a possible working surface/mason’s yard on the NE side of the church. A test trench on the projected limit of the earlier graveyard located a possible buried gravestone, that trench was carefully backfilled.
