Indeterminate Remains, The Clett. On a small isolated stack, called The Clett, which lies off the N. coast of the island near Busta Pund, there are said to be a number of small rectangular foundations, which apparently mark the positions of houses or huts. The site could not be visited for lack of a boat, but the description given by those who have seen the remains suggests that The Clett may have been occupied in much the same way as the Inner Brough at Strandburgh Ness (HU69SE 2), the Kaim of Isbister, Northmaven (HU39SE 4), and Gloup Holm, Yell (HP40NE 1).

RCAHMS 1946, visited 10 September 1930.
