Field survey recorded that the reservoir is an open body of water contained behind a dam at its southwest end that faces west. A valve house controls the flow of water out from the dam to a ‘holding’ pond behind a substantial dam and timber sluice construction (35). A separate spillway allows overflow to the Kip Water.
