Date Fieldwork Started: 21/11/2019

Compiled by: NOSAS

Location Notes: The panel lies in a large undulating field of rough grazing on the W facing slope of Knockfarrel. The field overlooks the confluence of the Black Water and the River Conon about 1.5km to the S and W. The Strathconon hills are visible to the S. The field has areas of gorse but is mainly grass. To the N is an access track leading to the farm up the hill and to the E, with a garden fence about 23m to the N and a telegraph pole about 8m to the E.

Panel Notes: The panel appears to be a small schist outcrop measuring 1.10m N-S by 1m and 0.3m above the surrounding grass. There are 12 cupmarks, mainly on the S end of the stone with one cluster possibly making an irregular rosette.
