Location Notes: The panel lies on flat ground immediately to the SW of the ruins of Scarrel farmsteading, opposite the steading's central gable and a slit window. It is a rounded boulder lying at the edge of the track which goes past the steading, and possibly forms part of a feature. From the panel there are open views to Arran, St. Ninian's Point, Scalpsie and Inchmarnock. There are other cupmarked stones recorded in the vicinity, although few of these have been refound.

Panel Notes: The panel is a coarse grained schist type rounded boulder measuring 1.1m x 0.9m with a height of 0.5m. At least 4 cupmarks are visible grouped together on the sloping SW face of the boulder. The panel shows scratches, but there are no visible tool or peck marks.
