Situated on the N side of the Alyth Burn,(c.370m OD), a short distance below its junction with the Thief's Burn, there is a dispersed group of hut-circles and fragments of a field-system.
Hut Circle A - What is probably a multi-period Dalrulzion type house, but obscured by deep heather. A stone revetted hollow to the SW may be a hut or store.
Hut Circle B - A well-preserved Dalrulzion type house.
Hut Circle C - A Dalruzion type house with two possible external entrances to the wall chamber.
Hut Circle D - A simple hut-circle with a possible cobbled fore-court.
The nature of an oval enclosure between A and B is uncertain. There are structures of field-banks between A,B and the Alyth Burn, and extending from C to take in a knoll to the NW. A cairn to the NE of C may be of relatively recent date.
