A well-preserved hut-circle is situated on the E side of a terrace which descends gently towards Tullymurdoch farmhouse some 370m to the S. It measures 9.8m in diameter within a turf-covered stony bank which measures up to 3m in thickness and up to 0.5m in height; there is a 2.1m wide entrance on the SSE. Some 30m to the NW at NO 1981 5290 there is the S-SE arc of what may be the remains of a second hut-circle which has been destroyed on the W by a later trackway. The arc of bank measures up to 3m in thickness.
