Stone type: whinstone

Place of discovery: NJ c 560 457

Present location: set upright in the grounds of Whitestones House, Moray.

Evidence for discovery: found built into a dyke sometime before 1884.

Present condition: weathered.

Description

This fragment is incised with part of a notched rectangle and possibly another rectangle.

Date: seventh century
