Standing Stone, 'Wallace's Stone', Wallacestone.

According to Nimmo's editor (1) the original "Wallace's Stone" was a slab 3' high, 18" wide and 3" thick, but the monument that now occupies the site is an ornamental stone pillar, erected in 1810 in honour of Sir William Wallace, and is of no archaeological interest.
