Breckonside Tower and an adjacent building are situated towards the end of a slight spur to the E of the Laggan Burn. The tower (Nith 206) measures 5m from NNE to SSW by 4m transversely within faced-rubble walls between 1.2m and 1.4m in thickness and up to 1.1m in height. An outshot on the NNE end of the tower extends for 4.6m The second building (Nith 207) lies approximately at right angles to the NNE end of the tower outshot and measures 9.5m from E to W by 4.2m transversely within stone footings 1m in thickness and 0.6m in height. The entrance is in the S side and there is an outshot on the E end extending for 9m.
