What appears to be the faint outline of a building, visible in dune grassland, is situated on level ground 55m SSE of the junction of the U1456 public road and a tarmac track leading SE to the foreshore. It is rectangular on plan and measures 10m from ENE to WSW by 5.2m transversely. It may represent the floor of a wooden building that is depicted on an aerial photograph (CPE/Scot/UK/0293 SFFO 0045) flown on 17 September 1947; but it is also possible that it is a discolouration due to a caravan parked at this location, which is shown on an aerial photograph (FSL/7343/32 0724) flown on 17 May 1975.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK, KLG), 30 March 2019.
