NT 28980 65272 An evaluation and geophysical survey were carried out, October 2017, within the property in care of Mavisbank Policies, as part of the Minor Archaeological Services Call Off Contract.
Seven trenches were hand dug during the evaluation to investigate anomalies found by a previous programme of geophysical survey. Two of the trenches uncovered no features; however, the rest uncovered features pertaining to services, garden paths and drainage. Finds included modern ceramic as well a small, decorative copper alloy covered lead griffin.
