175. Cammo House.

Permission to inspect this property could not be obtained, and consequently no first-hand description of it can be given. According to Small (1) the mansion was erected in 1693, was rebuilt to the design of William Adam, and was considerably extended in the 19th century. Small's illustration shows the older part as a rectangular harled block of four storeys with a battlemented wall-head.
