This hut circle is situated in rough moorland immediately below a large mound of spoil which has been removed from one of the barytes mines on the N side of Glen Sannox. The hut circle measures 14.1m in diameter over a grass-grown stony bank spread up to 2m in thickness and 0.35m in height; there is an entrance 1.5m wide on the SE. A deer fence runs from NW to SE through its centre.
