This bracken-, gorse- and grass-grown machine gun post, which is situated on an ESE-facing slope, formed part of defences of the battery introduced by the Army during World War 2. It comprises a figure of eight-shaped depression, measuring 5.7m from NW to SE by 4.6m transversely and up to 1m in depth, with the upcast shaped into a low external bank on the NE, SE and SW. There is a narrow entrance on the SW.
