136B. Standing Stone, Purvishaugh.
About ¼ mile north-west of Purvishaugh farm-steading, and about 650 yards south-east of Grizzlefield ‘East Rings’ fort (No. 134 [NT54SE 6]), on a knowe some 20 yards south-east of the Earlston and West Morriston Road, is a monolith measuring 5 feet in height, 2 feet 6 inches in width, and 3 feet 6 inches in length.
