Place of discovery: NO 66439 49610

Present location: lying half-buried in the west corner of the burial ground at Inverkeillor.

Evidence for discovery: recorded in 2006. Its present location in the graveyard, beside the wall of a burial aisle, is unlikely to be its original site.

Present condition: weathered.

Description

A well-shaped stone, this has a rectangular socket measuring 0.30m by 0.11m at its base and a depth of 0.25m.

Date range: early medieval.
