A desktop and walkover survey was conducted in November 2018 for an area of proposed woodland of 20 hectares, the site lying adjacent to the site of hut circles (NRHE NC82NE 8) site had been surveyed previously in 1991 as part of the Afforestable Land Survey. Work revealed a number of clearance cairns which are likely to be associated with the existing hut circles.
