NT 00221 77449 An evaluation was carried out, March 2018, in advance of the installation of drainage. The hand excavated trenches had been placed to investigate the soil profile and formation of the bank along the Bow Butts. No archaeological features or deposits were identified. The bank appears to be formed of well-sorted slopewashed deposits.
