It is noted that this slate rubble building is adjacent to the quarry [NM71NW 118.00] and with an internal face built fair and pointed in lime mortar. A small aperture passes through the west wall, possibly for a pump line.

The building remains measure some 5.0m by 4.0m, the walls rising some 2.0m above current ground level.

Some graffiti was noted during Withall's 1994 survey, with two dates '1900' and '1905' deciphreable. Withall notes that it is know that this quarry was in operation at this time.
