NS 5040 7841 – NS 5151 7888 A walkover survey was carried out on 22 September 2014 along the route of a proposed new hydro-electric scheme on the Auldmurroch Burn, near Blanefield. Unfortunately, bracken covered much of the ground at that time and the route was resurveyed on 23 January 2016 when vegetation was low. Nothing of archaeological
significance was encountered on either occasion.
