NS 48254 64001 (NS46SE 380) A watching brief was undertaken, 23–25 October 2017, during the excavation of five test pits in the basement of 22 High Street. The work uncovered the basement walls, foundation stones, levelling deposits and floor surfaces of the current building. The building was constructed in the early 1880s and saw a period of extensive renovation in the 1960s.
