Foundation trenches dug for the construction of a house to the SSW of 49 Crammond Glebe Road exposed part of the surface of the W interval!urn road of the Fort. Its position proved to be as on the published plan (Britannia V, 1974), and parts of its surface were covered by a layer of collapsed turf/clay from the adjacent rampart.
