NJ 8664 0205 An evaluation was carried out, 12–14 January 2015, in advance of a proposed residential development. The phase 1 development area encompasses four separate fields along with an area of buildings and a car park which is still in use.

A total of 20 evaluation trenches with an area of 4220m2 were excavated in the 4.9ha area, exceeding the required 7% sample. The trenches revealed a simple stratigraphic sequence of thin topsoil overlying sandy clay glacial till subsoil. No significant archaeological finds or features were recorded.
