At the north end of the vallum are the footings of a house, 4.5m broad and 10.0m long, with walls 0.4m high and 0.75m broad. The house is aligned north to south with the western wall revetted into a steep slope. To the north of the structure and abutting the boundary wall to Clachanach are the possible remains of another structure. To the west of the original structure, at the top of the steep slope, is an enclosure 8.0m by 12.0m, formed by low walls, only 0. 3m high.

The enclosure and both structures are shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey.
