The monument comprises the remains of a ring ditch, probably of prehistoric date, represented by cropmarking visible on oblique aerial photographs (A30652-55). The monument is located in arable farmland at around 140m OD. The ring ditch is 25m in diameter, with a ditch of 2 - 3m wide. A dense, dark cropmarking 11 x 8m occupies much of the interior space, and may represent the remains of internal features associated with the ring ditch's occupation.
