This cist is situated in pasture about 28m SSE of the ruins of North House farmsteading (HY33SE 49). It measures 0.64m by 0.45m transversely and at least 0.45m in depth. The west end of the cist is defined by the side of a very large earthfast sandstone boulder, with the east end and the sides formed from slabs set on edge, that on the south apparently split and leaning into the interior. The capstone is not visible.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 13 May 2015.
