At the southern end of the island, there is an oval patch of rig-and-furrow which measures roughly 190m from NE to SW by 90m transversely, defined by the coast on the SE and SW and wetter areas of ground elsewhere. The individual rigs are spaced at intervals of about 4.5m and are orientated NW and SE. A circular turf-built feature at the southern edge of the patch may be the remains of a hut (ND 3888 8382).
