Scope and Content Handwritten inscription on reverse: 'Broughton Churchyard, Peeblesshire. Front view of ancient stone with 3 large Cup hollows on front, one on bottom and one on back. Found in 19.. when cell was being restored. This stone is the same size as the old door opening into the Cell. It revolves quite easily lying on its back. - See the larger view for inscription ? on the bottom - JS Grieve' (signature)
