Scope and Content Cross-slab at Eassie Churchyard, Angus The stone now stands within the ruins of Eassie Church and was originally found in the nearby burn. It has a cross carved on one side and symbols on the other. The back is now rather weathered. This face shows three figures wearing cloaks and carrying spears. A fourth figure stands by a tree. Below are two cows and the remains of a third. There is also a Pictish beast over a double-disc and Z-rod, an arch and a second Pictish beast. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
