Scope and Content Possible threshing-barn, St Mary's Steading, Fife St Mary's Steading was established in the early 19th century and consists of a Z-plan range with an L-shaped extension. Valued at £2,500 in 1910, it fell out of agricultural use in modern times and was converted for domestic, workshop and storage use. This is the entrance in the east gable of the north block which probably contained threshing machinery driven by the next-door horse-mill (just visible on the left).
