Scope and Content North range of St Mary's Steading, Fife St Mary's Steading was established in the early 19th century and consists of a Z-plan range with an L-shaped extension. Valued at £2,500 in 1910, it fell out of agricultural use in modern times and was converted for domestic, workshop and storage use. This is the north side of the range of the original Z-plan complex looking into the courtyard. The four arches (right) were probably cart-sheds. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
