Scope and Content L-shaped extension, St Mary's Steading, Fife St Mary's Steading was established in the early 19th century and consists of a Z-plan range with an L-shaped extension. Valued at £2,500 in 1910, it fell out of agricultural use in modern times and was converted for domestic, workshop and storage use. This is the courtyard formed by an L-shaped extension at the south end of the original Z-plan range. Part of the farmhouse is visible on the right edge of the picture.
