Scope and Content Farmhouse, St Mary's Steading, Fife St Mary's Steading was established in the early 19th century and consists of a Z-plan range with an L-shaped extension. Valued at £2,500 in 1910, it fell out of agricultural use in modern times and was converted for domestic, workshop and storage use. This is the L-plan farmhouse seen from the north-west. The pantiled roof of the steading's north block is visible to the left of the picture. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
