Description This pillbox forms part of the World War II coastal defences along Newburgh Sands, Aberdeenshire. Hexagonal in shape, the pillbox rests on a concrete raft supported by four large rectangular piles. Although now entirely exposed through wind erosion, were originally buried deep in the sand.
