Description The Castle Campbell portrait of the Marquis of Argyll. Found in a house in Dollar in 1867, the painting was moved to Inveraray Castle, where it was destroyed in the fire of 1877. This image shows a calotype copy of the portrait, printed on canvas, and mounted, which is now preserved at Inverarary Castle.
