Scope and Content Plan of a ring-cairn at Middleton Muir, Perth and Kinross Spread across Middleton Muir is an extensive assemblage of prehistoric remains, comprising numerous hut-circles, field-systems and burial monuments, including a ring-cairn. Seen here on plan, the well-preserved ring-cairn lies immediately west of the north-west corner of the Buzzart Dykes medieval deer park. The outer kerb is defined by boulders, whilst the irregularly shaped inner court is lined with slabs of varying sizes. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
