Description View of the old parish church of Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire, in the foreground, and the Hill Church of Rosehearty, in the background. The old church was built in 1632 and remained in use until c.1890, when it was replaced by the Hill Church. It was unroofed shortly afterwards, and now survives only as a shell, although much of the remarkable 17th century woodwork has been preserved in the new building. This photograph captures the old church, still roofed, in the 1890s.
