Scope and Content cf PAs 21, 64, 85, 90, 114, 115, 116, 125 ad 126. Wooden backed album with leather spine, the back carved, the front bearing a copper panel with repousse Indian decoration. 26 thick gilt-edged card pages with single large window each side held by a decorated brass clasp. Purchased at Phillips, Edinburgh c. 1985. One of a group of Turnbull family albums, this one bears the monogram SKT and contains mostly studio portraits from c. 1870 onwards. Many are unidentified except Maud, 1860; Alice 1862; and Robert Kindersley 1879.
