Scope and Content View from south of Inniscarra, No 385 Perth Road, Dundee Inniscarra was designed by architect William Williamson and built in 1905, with later additions by T M Cappon to the original design. It is a two-storeyed house with attic, and stands in its own gardens. It has a modern swimming pool and garage extension. This photograph shows the shaped Dutch gables and central tower with balcony and oriel window. Flanking this are bow windows with shaped parapets and ball finials. Windows are sheltered under swept eaves above. A modern extension is on the right. This house has been harled and painted, and the white paint contrasts sharply with the dark curves of the gables and parapets. The modern, angular extension further highlights the softer shapes of the original building. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
