Scope and Content Fort and temporary camp at Dalginross, Perth and Kinross This Roman fort and temporary camp are at Dalginross. Both were recorded by General Roy in 1793, when they were visible at ground level. They are now only visible as cropmarks, and are bordered by a modern housing development. This is an aerial view of the site. The line of the camp's defences can be seen as crop marks above and to the left of the modern houses. A corner of the fort and its annexe can be seen halfway up the right side of the image. Both sites have been partially excavated. The camp may have been more than a simple labour camp for the fort, however, as it may have had two phases of use. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
