Might this view be 'A View of the Abbey of Deer in Aberdeenshire', donated to the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, 25 January 1830, by James Mitchell, Esq. London? (Archaeologia Scotica, iii, Appendix II, 141). Original wrapping paper attributes this to Thomas Ross but it is too early for Ross.
