Scope and Content The organ and pulpit in the former North Morningside Church, 'Holy Corner', Morningside, Edinburgh northorth Morningside Church, designed in 1879-81 by David Robertson in a northeo-northorman style, is one of four churches at 'Holy Corner', and stands on the south corner of Chamberlain Road and Morningside Road. The church now serves as the Eric Liddell Centre. The organ, by Bryceson Brothers & Ellis in 1881, is built into a huge arched recess at the south end of the church. In front of the organ is the choir gallery and central pulpit, all in simplified Norman woodwork. The Eric Liddell Centre was set up by members of Morningside United Church, Christ Church Episcopal and Morningside Baptist Church to house a variety of community care and educational projects, as well as providing a coffee house and bookshop.
