Scope and Content Coronation Bridge, Falls of Tummel, Perthshire This is a typical wire -rope suspension bridge of the early 20th century. It spans the river Tummel just before it flows into Loch Faskally, and was built to mark the coronation of King George V. This view shows the bridge from the south. The densely-wooded setting is evident. The deck is of steel plate, with light lattice-truss parapets. The bridge is part of a footpath system which runs through a National Trust for Scotland property on the north side of the valley. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
