Scope and Content cf PAs 21, 64, 85, 90, 114, 115, 116, 125 and 127. Stiff-backed brown leather album with deeply embosed front and back covers and remnants of brass clasp. White watered silk effect end papers and 24 card pages with windows both sides, gilt-edged. All studio portraits, named and many dated 1860's and later. Includes many members of the Turnbull and Stuart families and the following people:- Jessie Jameson; Mr Saxon, Conklie; John Todd, Fenwick Malice; Rev John Hamilton; Capt. and Miss Anderson; Dr and Miss Cullen; Miss Crawford; JO and Mrs Ewing, Strathleven; George and Nellie Young; James and Mrs MacGowan; Miss Russell, Woolbank; Dr Strang; Mrs Dymock; Charlotte and Michael Muirhead, Jamaica; Rev and Mrs J MacNab; Mrs Semple; Miss Ann Oughterston; Tom Mills; Mr, Miss A and Miss Margaret Aitken, Largs; Gen. and Mrs Marshall. Several groups taken in Madras show Stewart Robertson Turnbull with Mr Hume, Mr McIver and Mr Nixon. There is a snapshot of Place of Bonhill.
