Scope and Content Relief Land, Inveraray, Argyll This block of five three-storey tenements was designed by Robert Mylne, as part of the development of the new town of Inveraray, to house labourers. They were refurbished in the 1950s By Ian G Lindsay and Partners, with new rear stair towers. This view shows the block from the south west. The small windows and absolutely plain treatment signal the basic accommodation that was originally provided. These houses were vaulted internally as a precaution against fire.
