Scope and Content Offices of the Forth Bridge Railway Co, Dalmeny, West Lothian The Forth Bridge and the railways which linked it to the existing system near Corstorphine and at Burrntisland were financed by a separate company in which the shares were held by the railway companies which stood to benefit from the bridge. This little stone office block was built below Dalmeny Station (one of theirs) to house the administrative offices of the Forth Bridge Company. After a period of disuse the building has been adapted, by the addition of a second storey to act as a monitoring point for station security cameras in the Edinburgh area.
