Scope and Content St Stephen's Works (printing), Slateford Road, Edinburgh This building was constructed in 1910 as the Grove Biscuit Factory for S Henderson & Sons Ltd, architect RB Hagg. Unlike other biscuit factories in the area it is a three-storey attic and basement building, with a castellated corner tower. This view shows the Slateford Road frontage of the building. There is a tall brick chimney with a flared top at the rear. By 1974 this building had been taken over as a manufacturing stationery works. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
